Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Agreement

By renting an e-scooter from Sunnyside Beach E-Scooter Rentals, you agree to these terms and conditions. You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid form of identification to rent.

2. Safety & Waiver

All riders must complete and sign our safety waiver before use. You acknowledge that e-scooter riding involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and injuries. You assume all risks associated with riding and agree to release Sunnyside Beach E-Scooter Rentals from any liability.

You agree to wear a helmet at all times while riding. Helmets are provided with every rental.

3. Rental Pricing & Payment

Current pricing: $25/hour. Pricing is subject to change without notice. Payment is processed at the time of rental. All sales are final unless otherwise stated.

4. Rider Responsibilities

As a renter, you are responsible for:

• Following all local traffic laws and regulations
• Riding only on designated paths and areas
• Returning the scooter in the same condition as received
• Paying for any damage caused by negligence or misuse
• Respecting other pedestrians and users of public spaces
• Not riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs

5. Damage & Loss

You are liable for any damage to the e-scooter during your rental period. Damage charges will be assessed and billed to your payment method. In case of loss or theft, you may be charged the full replacement cost of the scooter.

6. Coupon Card & Digital Pass

The digital coupon card is provided for your convenience and is non-transferable. You agree not to share, sell, or distribute your coupon card to others. Misuse of the coupon card may result in termination of service.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sunnyside Beach E-Scooter Rentals is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss of personal belongings during your rental. You ride at your own risk and assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages incurred.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

Refunds are not available for completed rentals. If you need to cancel before your rental begins, contact us immediately. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before the scheduled rental time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

9. Age Restrictions

Riders must be at least 18 years old. Valid identification is required at the time of rental. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet age requirements or appears unsafe to ride.

10. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the e-scooter for:

• Stunt riding or tricks
• Racing or competitive activities
• Riding while impaired
• Carrying passengers (single rider only)
• Riding on sidewalks where prohibited
• Any illegal activities

11. Weather & Operational Limits

Rentals are weather permitting. We reserve the right to suspend operations during severe weather, high winds, or unsafe conditions. In such cases, refunds or rescheduling options will be provided.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our rental service constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
